    Sunday 13th,
    Today the u14s entered 2 teams into the Flixton 6 aside festival.In only the 2nd game for each team they faced each other with the outcome being a 1.1 draw.The red team captained by Titch finished there group games unbeaten and top of the group, meaning they would stay clear of our blue team in the semis.Tomo's blue team had to settle for 3rd in the group and had to rally the girls for the semi final against Sale utd who had been scoring some quality goals in the group stage and were the only team to beat them on the day. The blues took an early lead but could not finish the game off. Sale broke away and with a neat finish took the game into extra time which was a nail biter but finished all even.So it was penalties and and some very powerful ones to say the least. Laura made herself big and managed to get infront of 2 of them. In the other semi the Reds played Man city and having beaten them in the groups were confident.The Reds started well and just got better with a 3.0 win.

    The game started and a few tackles were made which proved that friendship was put to one side for at least 10 mins. Tomo's blues took an early lead and could have added to it a couple of times but lucy was having a great day in goal. After a great save from shannon she sent the ball down the other end with Titch and Faulty combining to finish a great counter attack.End to end it was for the next 5 mins until the Reds took there chance. Carrie and co were going for broke and as the match came to an end the Reds broke once more and finished neatly to make it 3.1.
